First public announcement on the environmental impact assessment for Hebei Haiweilanhang Chemical’s 1 million tons per year propane dehydrogenation project in Cangzhou Bohai New Area

Recently, the website of the Management Committee of the Bohai New Area in Cangzhou, Hebei Province, published the first public notice regarding the environmental impact assessment for Hebei Haiweilan Hanghua Chemical Co., Ltd.’s 1 million tons per year propane dehydrogenation project. 　　According to the public announcement, the project requires an investment of around 7.665 billion yuan. It will be carried out in the petrochemical industry cluster area of Cangzhou Bohai New Area, covering an area of 1,342 mu. Using propane derived from associated gas in oil fields as raw material, the project will involve the construction of a propane dehydrogenation plant with an annual production capacity of 1 million tons, along with supporting facilities. The project is constructed in two phases, both involving the construction of a 500,000 tons per year propane dehydrogenation unit along with its supporting facilities.
