According to the latest information on the official website of China National Offshore Oil Corporation, Wang Dongjin is no longer serving as the Party secretary and chairman of the company. In 2008, Wang Dongjin served as a member of the Party Leadership Group and vice president of China National Petroleum Corporation. In 2011, he also became a director of China National Petroleum Corporation Limited, and in 2013 he assumed the role of president of the same company. From 2014 to 2018, he served as a member of the Party Leadership Group, Deputy General Manager of China National Petroleum Corporation, as well as Vice Chairman and President of its stockholding company. In 2018, he served as a director and deputy secretary of the Party leadership group at China National Offshore Oil Corporation. In October 2018, he became the General Manager of China National Offshore Oil Corporation. In 2019, he served as the chairman and party secretary of China National Offshore Oil Corporation.
