An internal floating disk is installed inside the atmospheric pressure tank, which is available in two capacities: 1000 liters and 3000 liters. What is considered normal loss when storing MTBE for one year, with some amount of material entering and leaving the tank during that time? Overview of Calculation Methods (I) Drafting Agency This guide for calculation methods was developed by the Pollution Prevention and Control Department of the Ministry of Environmental Protection. (II) Calculation approach: This calculation method classifies the pollution sources in various process stages into five categories: leakage pollution sources from the dynamic and static seals of equipment, pollution sources resulting from the storage and mixing of volatile organic liquids, pollution sources arising from the loading and unloading of volatile organic liquids, pollution sources generated during the collection, transmission, storage, and treatment of wastewater, and other pollution sources. For each category, corresponding methods for identifying pollution sources are developed based on the characteristics of that particular process. Currently, research and discussion are primarily focused on the pollution sources associated with the storage and mixing of volatile organic liquids. The workflow for the investigation of organic liquid storage and mixing mainly includes five steps: data collection, source analysis, compliance checking, statistical calculation, and reporting by various cities.
