Qilu Petrochemical Rubber Factory begins trial production of a new type of highly oil-filled and high-styrene-butadiene rubber

On July 29, the rubber plant of Qilu Petrochemical began trial production of a new type of high-oil-content, high-benzene-crosslinked styrene-butadiene rubber; the first batch of 7.8 tons of this product was successfully produced, marking the success of this trial production.   In March this year, the factory went to a tire manufacturer in Sichuan for technical exchanges, where the client expressed a need for styrene-butadiene rubber with high oil content and high benzene content, on par with imported products. The technical team at the factory responded promptly and collaborated efficiently; through process optimization and adjustments, they successfully produced test samples. After testing the sample in their application, the customer found its performance to be good and promptly expressed interest in making a purchase.   By combining the experimental data, we conducted thorough evaluations of aspects such as the production process, equipment suitability, and quality control, and ultimately determined an industrial production plan to ensure the smooth progress of pilot production. ”As explained by Li Peipei, an employee from the plant’s production technology department.   “This new product boasts excellent resistance to slippage and high oil absorption, as well as outstanding processability, making it particularly suitable for the manufacture of specialty tires.” ”Bai Yingfeng, the deputy chief engineer of the factory, held up a rubber sample and explained, \"Going forward, we will conduct comprehensive tests on the products, summarize the experience gained from pilot production, provide customers with accurate technical support and application guidance, and make thorough preparations for large-scale production.\" ”
