In September, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the list of enterprises with high levels of quality management capabilities; Lanzhou Petrochemical was rated at the “Guarantee Level”. It was the only enterprise in the petroleum and petrochemical industry among the 43 enterprises selected, as well as the only enterprise from Gansu Province and China National Petroleum Corporation to make it onto the list. The evaluation of quality management capabilities in manufacturing enterprises is divided into five levels, from lowest to highest: experience level, inspection level, assurance level, prevention level, and excellence level. It serves as an effective means to help manufacturing enterprises improve their quality management capabilities, aiming to guide them in gradually enhancing such capabilities and achieving development characterized by specialization, expertise, and uniqueness. In August 2024, Lanzhou Petrochemical initiated the process of submitting applications and preparing for evaluations, inviting an expert team from the Gansu Quality Association to provide guidance in compiling the application materials with high quality; these materials passed the online review conducted by a third-party organization. The results showed that Lanzhou Petrochemical’s evaluation rating was “guaranteed level”; among the 2,606 enterprises that completed the online assessment of their quality management capabilities in the manufacturing sector, over 98.93% of them met this standard ； It ranks first among the 28 companies in the national petroleum, coal, and other fuel processing industry that have completed self-diagnosis for the production of refined petroleum products. During the subsequent on-site evaluation review, the expert team, in accordance with the \"Specifications for Assessing the Quality Management Capabilities of Manufacturing Enterprises,\" conducted a comprehensive, thorough, and in-depth review of four primary indicators – namely the effectiveness of the quality management system, the digitization of quality management, the ability to achieve sustained success, and quality performance – as well as the 30 secondary indicators that fall under these categories. Ultimately, they gave a high rating to Lanzhou Petrochemical; as the \"eldest son of the Republic,\" it possesses a strong foundation, and it still exhibits great vitality and strength. Its quality management capabilities are of high standard and comprehensive, so it was recommended for inclusion in the guaranteed category. ” Lanzhou Petrochemical will make continued efforts, firmly establish a scientific quality perspective, continuously improve its quality management capabilities, and accelerate its progress toward excellence in quality. It will also make new contributions to the development of a strong manufacturing nation and a strong quality-oriented nation, as well as to the acceleration of modern industrialization.
