On November 7, the Jixi City Ecology and Environment Bureau issued a public notice regarding its intended decision to approve the environmental impact assessment document for the 300,000-ton per year green hydrogen-alcohol aviation fuel chemical production project in Jidong County, Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province. Project Overview: Project Name: Construction of a 300,000-ton per year green hydrogen, alcohol, and aviation fuel chemical production complex in Jidong County, Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province. Location: Chemical Industry Park, Jidong Economic Development Zone, Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province. Constructor: Heilongjiang Jiayirongyuan Green Chemical Co., Ltd. Project Scope: This is a new construction project that is planned to be built in the Chemical Industry Park of the Jidong Economic Development Zone in Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province, covering an area of 44.52 hectares. The project includes the construction of an ethanol production area, a methanol production area, an auxiliary facilities area, a storage and transportation area, as well as supporting environmental protection facilities. Upon completion of the project, it will use biomass straw as raw material to produce 80,000 tons of ethanol and 240,000 tons of green methanol per year. Project investment: The total investment in the project is 2,688.74 million yuan, of which 30.6 million yuan is allocated to environmental protection measures.
