　　According to OilPrice.com, Baker Hughes has recently signed a contract with Kuwait’s **Oil Company (KOC)** to deploy artificial lift technologies in Kuwait’s oil and gas fields. This technology uses artificial lifting devices to artificially maintain the production pressure at the bottom of the drilling well, ensuring that crude oil can reach the surface and thereby maximizing the output of mature oil fields. 　　Under the agreement, Baker Hughes will provide installation, monitoring, and maintenance services for electric submersible pumps, with the aim of improving production reliability and reducing downtime. The manual lifting system will be integrated with Baker Hughes’ automated production platform to enable real-time monitoring, optimize performance, and reduce downtime, thereby improving operational efficiency.
