Lanzhou Petrochemical Company promotes the project focusing on four aspects: basic project situation, main products, core industrial chain, and deepening collaborative cooperation. 　　It is understood that this project is the core engine of the 100 billion-level petrochemical industry cluster in Lanzhou Xigu Chemical Industrial Park. The project plans to use advanced steam cracking technology and polyolefin complete technology to build, rebuild and expand 15 sets of major refining and chemical units. After the project is completed, Lanzhou Petrochemical Company's total ethylene production capacity will achieve a new leap, the total polyolefin production capacity and high-end new chemical material products will achieve new breakthroughs, and the comprehensive energy consumption and carbon emission intensity of ethylene will be significantly reduced. It will then become the leading new chemical material production base in China. 　　Han Xianming, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Gansu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, said that the Lanzhou Petrochemical ethylene transformation project is a core support project for Gansu Province to implement the "Strong Industry" action and build a 100-billion-level petrochemical industry cluster. The Gansu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology will provide all-round services in planning guidance, element guarantee, policy support, environmental optimization, etc., and make every effort to promote the early implementation of the project. 　　Li Yujing, director of the Petrochemical Division of the Industrial Development Department of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation and secretary-general of the Light Hydrocarbons and Aromatics Professional Committee, made an in-depth analysis of the current development trends and policy directions of the petrochemical industry, and highly recognized Lanzhou Petrochemical's strategic direction of relying on the existing foundation to upgrade ethylene and extend to downstream high value-added materials.
