The "Opinions" make it clear that based on the number of chemical industry parks in 2024, no new chemical industry parks will be added in principle. Strictly control the number of sub-areas in a single chemical industry park, guide the centralized and contiguous development of parks with an output value of less than 10 billion yuan, and promote the orderly exit of areas with an output value of less than 500 million yuan. The park expansion should meet the requirements of ranking in the top 50% of the province in the previous year's competitiveness evaluation. Priority will be given to supporting the expansion of parks with leading levels of competitiveness and intelligence, a high concentration of chemical companies, and new projects that have obvious role in extending and replenishing the chain. Zhejiang Province will enhance the development level of chemical industry parks. The "Opinions" propose to accelerate the development of green petrochemical industry cluster core areas and collaborative areas, and support the high-standard construction of green petrochemical bases in Ningbo and Zhoushan.
