The compressor valve spring is broken as shown in the picture. What could be the reasons?
The reasons for spring failure include: 1. Normal fatigue fracture, that is, the service life has expired. 2. The spring material and spring force selected do not match the operating conditions. 3. Incorrect installation, or defective spring. 4. The old and new springs are installed inside a gas valve.
It might be a problem with the operating conditions. Insufficient exhaust pressure, or in other words, insufficient backpressure
It seems we encountered this once before as well.
This situation can also occur when there is a large amount of liquid in the gas.
In the case of abnormal fractures, the reasons could be: first, the material quality; second, the processing quality; third, mixing of old and new components; fourth, an incorrect spring model.
1. The service life of the spring has expired. 2. The spring was not installed properly when replacing the valve disc or buffer plate. 3. The spring material is of poor quality or the heat treatment is inadequate.
