Overrunning clutch reverse issue

As shown in the figure, the function of the overdrive clutch is to drive the motor when the speed of the hydraulic turbine exceeds that of the motor, thereby achieving energy savings. Today, the motor driving the pump was operating normally. At the other end, the coupling between the clutch and the hydraulic turbine was removed; it is normal for the gear on the turbine side of the clutch to rotate slowly due to inertia, and this rotation can be controlled by hand. However, a few minutes after the gear was separated, its rotation speed increased rapidly, and it became uncontrollable. Why is this?
The valve that controls the turbine is leaking.
