It’s a reciprocating compressor: the inlet pressure at the first stage is low, and the inlet pressure at the second stage is also low. At first it was fine, but gradually the inlet pressure kept dropping. The temperature of the air valves was normal; all the support rings and piston rings were replaced with new ones. Could someone experienced help me figure this out? Thank you!
The inlet pressure is low; is it related to the compressor? It’s either due to low or unstable supply pressure from the previous section, or there might be blockages in the pipes that prevent proper airflow; it has nothing to do with the compressor’s intake valve
Process issues: Insufficient gas supply, unstable system pressure, low medium density, and clogged inlet pipelines. Equipment issue: Overkill – the selected model is too powerful for the task. Low inlet pressure can cause flutter; I’m not sure what problem you’re trying to solve. . .

Agree with what was said above: insufficient gas supply, unstable system pressure, low medium density, and blocked inlet pipelines.
In this way, you can operate at 50% load for a period of time to see if there is still a tendency for the inlet pressure to drop. If not, it indicates that the decrease in inlet pressure is caused by an insufficient flow rate of the process gas; you can also check whether the pressures in the storage tanks and pipelines upstream of the process system are decreasing as well. Another point is that a decrease in the primary intake pressure will inevitably lead to a decrease in the secondary intake pressure.
Has there been any change in the intake and exhaust volume?
