How to deal with oil leakage in the valve stem of a quick-shut valve in a condensing steam turbine
How can it be dealt with? ! If there is a gasket, tighten it; if not, use a small box to collect the oil. You can’t handle it without shutting down the unit!
Find something to catch the oil so it doesn’t spill everywhere; it’s too dangerous. To resolve it completely, wait until the major maintenance period to disassemble it for repair or replace the components.
There is a screw hole below the normal connection point, which can be used to connect a tube leading to the oil tank; the seal will be replaced when the machine stops running. If there is no such screw hole, then find some way to introduce oil!
In the diagram, 1 and 2 mark the two sealing rings; when you purchase the equipment, these sealing rings are supposed to be included as spare parts, so you can simply replace them.
