Graduates from the equipment engineering field who are just getting to know chillers in utility systems would like to ask their seniors: in a refrigeration cycle using an evaporative condenser, there is one condensation temperature resulting from evaporation cooling, and another is the designed condensation temperature of 38°C. What temperature does this 38°C refer to? I haven’t been able to find it. I would also appreciate it if the seniors could share their guidance; thank you so much!
The condensation temperature generally refers to the temperature at which the compressed medium changes from a gaseous state to a liquid state as it passes through the final cooler after being compressed multiple times by the compressor. Hello, I know that the condensation temperature is the temperature at which the compressed medium changes from a gaseous state to a liquid state. However, I saw in a technical document that the condensation temperature for evaporative cooling is 33°C, while the designed condensation temperature is 38°C. I haven’t been able to find any other place where a condensation temperature exists aside from that of evaporative cooling; I would appreciate your guidance! Thank you.
It should be the condensation temperature at the compressor outlet pressure.
