Has anyone worked on mechanical equipment in a design institute? I’m just starting to get involved in this area and don’t know where to begin; I’d like to ask for some advice from those who are more experienced.

Design institutes produce few drawings for mechanical equipment, and this work is not easy. New employees may find it difficult to get started while learning from their mentors; it’s better to start by studying various standards, taking a close look at the process packages, specification sheets, data sheets, and manufacturer materials related to other projects. Ask plenty of questions, seek advice from mentors, and take every opportunity to attend site tests and commissioning activities in order to gradually gain experience.
