What are the reasons for negative pressure extraction in catalytic cracking compressors, what are their characteristics, and what are the consequences?
What does it mean to create a negative pressure with a compressor? Doesn’t the compressor draw in the rich gas from the oil-gas separator at the top of the fractionation tower? How can negative pressure be created?
I’m a bit confused – how is it possible to create negative pressure? There are also anti-surge valves, speed regulation, and other such methods~
You should be referring to reciprocating machines – how many have you installed? The load on each unit is too low; it’s fine to shut down one of them. If the mechanical seal leaks, air can be drawn in over time, which is unsafe. Features: No inlet flow, negative pressure, minimum current
It’s likely a reciprocating compressor, as mentioned on the 4th floor; if it were a turbine, the compressor would have stopped operating due to surge long ago!
The negative pressure generated by the compressor occurs when the speed rises too quickly at startup, resulting in backflow without an appropriate increase in capacity. It causes a sharp drop in the pressure of the fractionation tower, resulting in the crude gasoline pump becoming evacuated and the liquid level in the overhead gas separator rising rapidly. If not addressed promptly, oil can reach the compressor, damaging its blades; this is a dangerous operating condition.
The air compressor creates very little negative pressure. There is a surge protection limit
