The stainless steel mesh belts used in large dryers generally have a width of over 2 meters. Due to the weight of the mesh belt itself, plus the weight of the materials being dried, even mesh belts with high density can bend toward the center. This is one of the most common problems and also something that customers are most concerned about. Today, we will explain the solutions to this issue I. Depending on the environmental conditions, support wheels can be added to the stainless steel mesh belt. (1) On stainless steel mesh belt equipment, support wheels that can be fixed in place can be used directly; support wheels without a frame are sufficient, with the stainless steel mesh belt moving back and forth on these support wheels. (2) If it is not possible to fix the support wheels on the equipment, support wheels with brackets can be used; these wheels are fixed to the brackets, and the stainless steel mesh belt moves back and forth over them. II. Stainless steel mesh belts can use guide grooves. The guide groove consists of five parts: side guide walls of standard length, guide groove connection angle steel, mounting screws, a bottom groove, and a sliding mechanism. The sliding devices are further divided into several types: nylon wheels, steel sliding plates, and plastic sliding plates. Thus, the guide grooves are correspondingly divided into three types: (1) guide grooves with a stainless steel mesh belt and nylon wheels, (2) guide grooves with a stainless steel mesh belt and steel sliding plates, and (3) guide grooves with a stainless steel mesh belt and plastic sliding plates. III. In cases where the environment does not permit the use of the above two types of supports, an option with built-in reinforcing ribs can be chosen.
