The steam supply to the regulating stage becomes partial steam supply (in fact, even when all the control valves of the turbine are open, the regulating stage still receives partial steam rather than steam supply throughout the entire circumference), unlike all the subsequent pressure stages (which all have steam supply throughout their entire circumference). How should this be understood?
The nozzles in the control stage differ from those in other pressure stages; they are individual nozzle segments mounted on the cylinder, with each segment corresponding to a control valve. Not all of these segments cover the entire circumference. When the control system operates, the valves associated with certain segments open, allowing air to flow into those segments, while the segments corresponding to closed valves do not allow any air flow

The nozzle array in the steam chamber of Hangqi’s industrial steam turbines is arranged over an 180° arc length. Other models from other manufacturers seem to have the 360° arc length you mentioned.
