The temperature of the reduction gearbox in the water ring pump is very high; what are the implications of this, and should extra attention be paid to the bearings? What impact will it have? I remember that in the past, the serpentine cooling pipes inside the gearbox were severely scaled up, and they couldn’t perform any cooling function at all. It was a very troublesome experience.
