The reciprocating compressor has just been overhauled – new lubricant and oil filters were installed, and the oil reservoir was cleaned. After it started operating, the pressure difference across the oil filter was high; the filter itself seemed to be clean. The pressure difference with the main oil pump was over 100, while it was 50 for the auxiliary oil pump. However, both values continued to increase slowly. Please help analyze this situation
It’s possible that new lubricant has been used; the interior is clean with no impurities, and the pressure on the oil supply side is low
Main inspection: Check if there are any issues with the differential pressure gauge; Is the filter element qualified? ; Conduct oil analysis ; Is there any issue with the filter element installation?
Is the oil model correct? Has there been a significant change in viscosity? Does the oil contain impurities such as water?
Check the lubricating oil and grease. It mainly depends on the water content; paper filters are most sensitive to water.

First, check whether there is anything wrong with the pressure gauge. Second, recall the entire process of maintenance: when replacing the filter screen, was the correct model used, and were there any impurities present?
Continue to replace the filter element and check whether the newly installed one contains any impurities. If impurities remain after two replacements, the oil should be drained and filtered again. The pre-pump filter should also be checked.
