This is a picture showing the load regulation of a reciprocating compressor. What is the principle behind achieving load regulation, and how does it work?
By forcing the intake valve open, when the gas in the cylinder is compressed, it is expelled through the intake valve, resulting in reduced exhaust and a lower load.
Adjustable variable clearance volume. The working principle of variable clearance volume adjustment is based on fixed clearance volume adjustment: the fixed clearance is changed to a continuously adjustable variable clearance, and the clearance valve that controls the gap between the auxiliary clearance chamber and the cylinder is removed, thereby allowing the variable clearance cylinder to be in direct communication with the outer cylinder. Variable clearance adjustment is controlled by hydraulic oil, instrumentation, and electrical control systems, enabling real-time, automatic control of the compressor’s air volume.

The cylinder head is equipped with an intake valve and an exhaust valve; the intake valve allows air to enter but not exit, while the exhaust valve allows air to exit but not enter – in other words, they are two one-way valves. The load is regulated by adjusting the return valve, which is usually located between the final air outlet tank and the air inlet tank

To enable control both remotely and locally, remote and local switches as well as a control logic diagram are required. When all four solenoid valves are powered, the load is at 0%; the unloaders on all shaft sides and cover sides are pressed down by instrument air pressure. Therefore, when all four solenoid valves lose power, the load is at 100%.

It must be the units from Shenyang Yuanda! ! By using solenoid valves to control the air circuits and activate the corresponding valves, different air circuits can be controlled. Generally, the load can only be controlled at certain percentages, such as 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%, etc
