I would like to ask the experts: 1. What is the purpose of the line marked in red? 2. When do the two valves marked in the diagram, those with DN25 and DN50 sizes, open, and what is their function?
1 Sealed steam recovery pipeline 2 Valve for draining water vapor; opens when steam is in use or when water hammer occurs.
Pre-heating line: preheats the seal before startup, and drains condensed water after shutdown to prevent corrosion of the equipment.
1. The steam and air mixture flows to the shaft seal condenser. 2. DN25 is the valve that controls the flow of the steam and air mixture to the shaft seal condenser; DN50 is the valve used for draining water, and it is opened at the beginning of steam operation as well as when water hammer occurs.
1. The DN25 pipeline is used for draining water from the balance pipes; it remains in an open state throughout the startup of the turbine and during its operation. 2. The DN50 pipeline is used for draining water from the shaft seal steam collection tank, and it is also in an open state.
