Compressor reset issue

Could some expert please explain that before starting the compressor, it is necessary to perform a \"on-site reset\" as well as a reset on the ITCC in the control room. What are their respective functions? Thank you!
It is a system in which, when an electrical switch or relay experiences an open circuit, the circuit needs to be reconnected under suitable conditions, so that power can be cut off in a sequential manner if another obstacle arises.
A hard reset on-site is primarily used to verify the integrity of all the mechanical equipment in the unit, whereas a soft reset via interlocks is mainly used to ensure that the relevant parameters of the unit are within the conditions required before it is started up!
On-site reset requires a person to go to the site to check for any damage to the machine, as well as any leaks in the oil and gas pipelines; this is done to further ensure that the unit is in good condition； As for the reset on the ITCC control loop, it is primarily aimed at the software and control aspects, to check for any system errors or issues with electrical components.
