What is the cause of the leakage in plan53A tank? What causes the leakage at the root weld of the inlet and outlet NOZZLES of the PLAN53A siphon tank?
The processing quality, what else could be the reason?
Welding quality, stress changes, material, and other factors.
Inadequate equipment protection: The equipment was manufactured in October 2015 and put into use in 2017; the project is located in a coastal area, resulting in chloride corrosion
Equipment specifications: SS304, OD 219X4. The material is not resistant to chloride corrosion, and its thin wall thickness makes it unsuitable for use in coastal areas or in environments with substances that can cause corrosion of SS304
The OD219X8 container should be chosen, as it offers better results in terms of welding quality control during manufacturing and overall performance
In coastal areas, SS316L material should be given priority
