May I ask if the foundation bolts of motors need to be checked regularly? What is the cycle length, how is it checked, and are there any relevant regulatory provisions? One fan here stopped working properly. Upon inspection, it was found that the motor’s mounting feet hadn’t been tightened at all. Since the equipment was put into use not long ago, it is likely that they weren’t tightened when the equipment arrived. Moreover, the motor is located inside the access hatch at the top of the housing, so it’s impossible to check it on a regular basis; this issue was only discovered after lubricating the motor. I would like to ask about the inspection of the tightening of anchor bolts – how do you carry it out? Thank you
Draw a line on the bolt; if it’s loose, the line will not be straight.
Thank you for letting me know; this is indeed a good approach. The problem is that several of our fans are not visible during regular inspections as they are located at the top, and can only be seen during annual maintenance. We’re not sure whether there are any regulations requiring regular checks of them

Sufficient pre-tightening force + reliable locking mechanism, ensuring no loosening even when not visible
You can have it checked every six months, and include it in the equipment inspection form; you can make a mark by drawing a line after tightening it.
If an on-site inspection isn’t possible, vibration can still be monitored. Are there any offline or online monitoring systems? By looking at the spectrum, it’s possible to determine if something is loose, after which it can be tightened. Alternatively, use a washer with the anchor bolt (it would be too extravagant to buy a disc spring), and with a higher preload, there is generally no problem. This is the common dry method for high-temperature heat exchangers in static equipment.
