In order to help users further improve their expertise in turbine technology, Jilin Hangzhongneng Turbine Power Technology Service Co., Ltd. has decided to hold a turbine technology training course in the spring of 2019. The turbines produced by Hangzhou Zhongneng Steam Turbine Power Co., Ltd. have seen the number of units in the Northeast region increase to over 200. In order to improve the technical skills of turbine users in the Northeast region regarding the operation, maintenance, and repair of turbines, a turbine technology training course for the spring of 2019 is planned to be held in Jilin City. To ensure the success of this training course, a survey will first be conducted among the various users; therefore, we ask all users to provide their feedback by March 15th. Has anyone attended this training? How is it working?
Has anyone attended this training? I want to learn * it, but I guess I’ll have to pay for it out of my own pocket. I’d like to know how effective the training is – is it worth it?
No matter how many theories there are, without practice, they are just empty talk
It’s still more worthwhile to start with practice first
I don’t know how many turbines are available in our facility for disassembly and inspection, and I’m not sure what you mean by ‘practice’.
I’m a beginner; I don’t dare to speak carelessly. I just focus on observing more, taking things apart more, and asking more questions
I think that whether it’s repairs or routine maintenance, a great deal of theoretical knowledge is needed to back it up; it’s not something that can be done just by picking it up and starting working on it. Can one really start using equipment worth millions right away? Without the corresponding theoretical knowledge, not to mention whether there are many opportunities to start, stop, disassemble, and inspect turbines, even if there are chances to learn on-site, it is not certain that this will lead to significant improvement.
