Our company recently installed a compressor. The support bearing is a tilting pad bearing with two upper and three lower parts. When measuring the interference of the pad back, the measured data must be multiplied by 1.1 to get the result. But I really can't figure out how the coefficient of 1.1 is calculated? Judging from the picture, what you should want to ask is the gap measurement problem. Interference does not need to be multiplied by a coefficient. There are errors when measuring gaps. Especially if you are using a lead wire to measure the gap between tilting tiles, because with five tilting tiles, you are pressing the gap between the lower tile and the upper side tile, not the radial gap in the vertical direction. You need to use a coefficient to compensate. If it is an ordinary round tile or oval tile, the top gap is directly pressed.

The API requires that the interference is generally 0-0.03mm. The interference of the sinking drum is usually 0-0.02mm. Many foreigners have clearance because the bearing expands after being heated. This parameter does not need to be multiplied by the coefficient. The 1.1 you mentioned is the compensation coefficient when the tilting pad presses the lead wire.
