After performing electrical maintenance on the motor, the coupling bolts broke
It could be fatigue fracture, or a misalignment in the centering.
Is it fatigue, or is there a fault with the equipment you are operating? I’m not sure if there were any other symptoms before it stopped working
Does misalignment during assembly cause excessive stress leading to fracture?
There is a high possibility of a malfunction with the equipment; the bolts may break, and the resistance remains very high.
These bolts all use pin holes for alignment; without proper alignment, it’s simply impossible to insert them. It is possible that the bolt preload is insufficient, and loosening has caused damage. (It is also possible that there are high points on the shaft coupling end face, resulting in an uneven end face.)
Why does everyone try to align large machinery just for no reason? Don’t keep saying that the alignment is poor every time!
