How to deal with damaged shaft bearings (sliding bearings) in Siemens large motors

Hello everyone: Those of you who have used Siemens large motors (1500KW and above), please share your experiences on how to deal with damage to the shaft bearings (sliding bearings).
I have used Siemens motors, but I have never encountered damage to the bearing shells. The bearing shell of a 2500kw motor in Jiamusi burned out; at that time, a new bearing shell was installed. Before replacing it, the option of repairing the existing bearing shell was considered as well, but in the end it was decided to replace it with a new one. Hope this can help the guy

If there are no spare parts available, keep operating despite the issue until new ones arrive ； 3. No spare parts available; cannot wait for new ones – repair on site ； 4. If problems occur frequently, identify the cause ； Can’t find it; replace it with a local or imported one overall.
If the motor shaft bearing is overheating, scraping the bearing can be used to resolve the issue; if the bearing is burned out, babbitt needs to be welded on again. It is processed on a lathe, and the bearing shells are reglazed to meet the technical standards.
