What are the reasons why a screw pump does not deliver flow? It’s easy for the stator and rotor to separate when removing them – should I replace the stator?
It mainly depends on the amount of wear; a lack of increase in output is not necessarily due to a problem with the equipment itself, but could also be related to process issues. Such as suction pressure, valve opening degree, etc. There is a gap between the screws, and it is the bearings that are positioned to restrict that gap. Only damaged bearings can cause damage to the screw. On the surface, the machining marks and wear marks on the screw can be used to determine its degree of wear. There are many factors; it is recommended to consider the aspects related to the manufacturing process. The possibility of issues with the actual component itself is low, unless the bearing is damaged.
It’s easy to do this; to put it in non-technical terms, there’s something called a \"micrometer\", and there’s also something called an \"inside diameter gauge\"~~~~ If you know how to use them, you can calculate the average value~~~ Check the manual or ask the manufacturer...... Hehe.
The pump body and suction pipe are not filled with water; the dynamic water level is below the filter pipe of the pump; the suction pipe is cracked, etc.
The rubber stator is worn out, which leads to increased internal backflow and as a result no flow occurs. If the pump has been in use for a short time, replacing the rubber stator will suffice. If it has been in use for a longer period, the rotor may also be worn or corroded, in which case it needs to be replaced as well.
