Under what conditions would this damage occur?
This situation should be related to lubrication and load. It may be overloaded or the preload force is large. At the same time, the possibility of foreign matter entering cannot be ruled out.
Poor lubrication results in surface peeling.
To add: 1. How long has the original bearing been used? May have reached the end of its useful life. 2. Is the outer ring damaged? Prolonged contact may cause contact fatigue and cause fatigue damage. 3. I don’t know how the lubricating oil or grease is filled during operation? Can't see it in the picture.
Whether the material is qualified, whether the lubrication is in place, whether the service period is too long, whether there is any abnormal vibration of the unit
For angular contact ball bearings, consider whether the preload force is too large.
Poor lubrication, excessive thrust, and too tight pressure when adjusting the amount.
These are all damages caused by impurities in the lubricating oil and excessive temperature.
