UOP catalyst regeneration process, what is this bottle on the lifting fan? Looking for guidance? ?

The lifting fan is imported from the United States, and the medium is mostly nitrogen. After obtaining power, it is used as lifting gas for the catalyst to be generated. What is in this bottle (it seems to be a desiccant through translation)? What other uses does it have? Can anyone with extensive experience in repairing this type of equipment give me some guidance? . .
This equipment looks like a high-speed pump. That thing should be a breathing cap. The desiccant inside prevents water vapor in the air from entering the gear box and prevents oil emulsification.
It should be alumina or molecular sieve, which is used to absorb water vapor and ensure the dryness of the internal air.
How is it connected to the atmosphere? Will air enter the bearing housing?
When the pump is running, the temperature will rise and the gas will expand. After the pump is stopped, the temperature will drop, and it will need to be replenished by the outside atmosphere.
