I noticed that in the individual testing procedures for all pump units, it is stated that \"the effective area of the pump inlet filter should be no less than 2 times the cross-sectional area of the inlet.\" What does this mean? What does effective area refer to? Does anyone know? Please give some guidance, thanks!

The total area of the holes is greater than twice that amount. Confirm? Add a margin when calculating it yourself. The purpose is to avoid low flow or empty-running of the pump.
