Dear sea friends: Please recommend a filtering device for me. The details are as follows: I have a solution that is a mixture of diatomaceous earth and water, in a ratio of 1:2. The goal at present is to separate the diatomite inside, with a low moisture content as well. Please recommend one, thank you
Membrane technology for diatomite separation is such a waste
Diatomaceous earth is itself fine and light, with a large specific surface area; therefore, it is difficult to dehydrate it. For small quantities, a flat-bed manual discharge centrifuge is recommended, while for larger quantities, a belt-type vacuum press filter is advised.
