I. For the UHC series magnetic flap level gauges, when equipped with remote transmission accessories, the following requirements must be met: 1. The remote transmission accessories should be attached closely to the main tube of the level gauge and secured using stainless steel clamps (iron clamps are not allowed); 2. The sensing surface of the remote transmission auxiliary instrument should face and be in close contact with the main pipe ; 3. The zero point of the remote transmission auxiliary instruments should be on the same horizontal line as the zero indication of the level gauge ; 4. The connection between the remote transmission auxiliary instruments and the display instruments or industrial computers should preferably be laid using protective tubes separately, or with shielded two-core cables. II. The main pipeline should be cleaned periodically to remove impurities, depending on the conditions of the medium ; III. For level gauges that exceed a certain length (greater than 3 meters for standard types and greater than 2 meters for corrosion-resistant types), intermediate reinforcement flanges or lugs must be added as fixed supports to enhance strength and counteract their own weight ; IV. The installation location of the magnetic flap level gauge should be away from or distinct from the inlets and outlets of the material flow, in order to avoid rapid changes in the local conditions of the material fluid, which could affect the accuracy of level measurement ; V. When adjusting a magnetic flap level gauge, first open the valve on the upper conduit, then slowly open the valve on the lower side to allow the fluid to enter the main conduit steadily (it is important to avoid rapid flow of fluid hitting the float, as this can cause severe fluctuations in the float and affect the accuracy of the readings). Check whether the magnetic red and white balls turn over properly, then close the valve on the lower conduit and open the drain valve to lower the liquid level in the main conduit. Repeat this process three times; if everything functions normally, the gauge can be put into use (except for corrosive or other special types of fluids).
Are magnetic flap valves not very suitable for applications where the density of the medium changes frequently?
The float should be able to function properly during changes in medium density; there shouldn’t be any problem
