I would like to ask everyone about the lubrication of mechanical pumps. Typically, HL-32 hydraulic oil is used for this purpose. Can L-AN32, which is designed for full-loss systems, be used as a substitute? Which of these two oils is better? Generally, the substitute oil should have at least the same quality as the original oil, or even be superior to it. I’m a bit confused; please give me some advice. Thank you!
The viscosity of 32 is a bit low; is the ambient temperature at the site very low?
Hydraulic oil contains various additives such as antioxidants, rust inhibitors, and anti-emulsifiers, while fully lost oil has no additives. The performance quality of hydraulic oil is better than that of fully lost foam oil.
