Information on the gas holder compressor: a cloned seal was used, and during three inspections it was found that the sealing surface of the seal was in contact only in spots, which caused leakage. It is recommended to start by checking the dust and impurity content in the medium, as well as the condition of the pre-organic filter. Check mainly with regard to the operating condition range of the control equipment.
If it is a point contact, then it means the sealing surface is not flat; there is a quality issue with the seal, or it may be caused by stress release from a new seal, or deformation resulting from the seal being stored for too long. If there is software available for grinding, use it, or have the seal manufacturer carry out the grinding and repair work
Has the sealing leakage issue of the gas holder compressor been resolved? I hope the original poster can share some experience in troubleshooting
By testing the mechanical seal to rule out any quality issues with it, it was suspected that the seal seat was deformed. A machining facility was contacted to conduct an end-face inspection of the seal seat, and a deviation of 5 threads was detected. After trimming it, it was reinstalled to investigate the fault at the installation site. Thank you all for your feedback.
