I. Unit information: Unit model, unit serial number, compressor serial number – RWBII676E. This unit has been in operation for approximately 8,000 hours since its major repair; abnormal noises were detected in the compressor bearings. It is recommended that the customer shut down the unit, as the shaft cannot be rotated. The compressor requires disassembly for major repair. II. Repair steps: 1. Close the intake valve, exhaust valve, and economizer return valve. Recycle R22 from the oil. The high-voltage power is disconnected; it is confirmed that it is locked. 2. Remove the coupling cover and the coupling itself. Remove the compressor oil supply line and the load/unload solenoid valve assembly. Remove the sensor wires connected to the compressor, as well as the suction and exhaust flanges. Remove the compressor and lift it to the customer’s repair shop. 1. Remove the coupling driven shaft end, shaft seal cover, and female rotor thrust cover. Use a screw rod to pull out the static ring of the shaft seal, and remove the dynamic ring. It was found that the exhaust seat bearing contained a large amount of foreign matter. 2. Disassemble the slide valve slider-piston assembly to balance the piston assembly. There are also obvious foreign objects in the suction seat bearing. 3. Use special tools to remove the lock nuts of the male and female rotors, mark the teeth, and use a jack to push out the screw. 1. Remove the rolling bearing from the suction and exhaust seat, and take out the rotor to remove the bearing sleeve. 2. Remove the rolling bearings from the suction and exhaust seats, and take out the rotor as well as the bearing sleeves. 3. Replace them with new male and female rotor bearings, as well as the thrust bearings. Heat the new bearing sleeve to 120 degrees using a bearing heater, install it on the rotor, and then install the rotor. 4. Install the suction seat, as well as the rolling bearings and thrust bearings. Check the clearance between the rotor and the exhaust end: the clearance between the male rotor and the exhaust seat should be 0.30 mm, while the clearance between the female rotor and the exhaust seat should be 0.28 mm. 5. Install the shaft seal, install the balance piston, and install the slide valve slider assembly and piston chamber. 6. Install the compressor and all connection pipes, and align them. 7. Drain all the oil from the unit and clean it thoroughly; replace the oil filter, suction check valve, and oil collector filter elements. Leak detection, vacuum pumping, and normal operation after startup.
It’s being learned, and things are progressing in an orderly manner
What model of bearing is this?
Source of impurities? What is it?
Precious internal photos, learned from them. Thank you, expert!
