What are these compressor parts and what are their functions?
Let me answer, 1. It is a shaft seal or balance plate seal； 2 Balance plate seal or oil seal (it’s hard to confirm without opening it) 3 Support bearing (also called radial bearing) 4 Thrust bearing
It is clear at a glance by looking at the assembly drawings. This drawing should be next to the device.
1. Shaft end air seal 2. Dry air seal, 3. Support bearing 4. Thrust bearing
Air seal, dry gas seal, radial bearing, and finally the thrust should be uncertain
Hello, where is the support bearing generally located?

1 is seal, 2 is dry gas seal, 3 is thrust bearing, 4 is support bearing
