Calibration of Roots metering pump

Must the calibration of a Roots metering pump be done under the same conditions as in actual operation? Does the pressure before the pump and the back pressure after the pump need to be the same as in reality? Will inaccuracies occur if they are not the same?
It should be the same as under actual operating conditions; as long as the pump runs well, that’s fine.
For metering pumps, ProMinent and Mettler Toledo products are more common
I don’t know how to calibrate them…… Our unit uses a lot of Rivà, Depam, and Chongqing water pumps, and it seems that there have been no calibration issues
