Magnetic seals as a replacement for traditional skeleton oil seals?

I believe everyone is still using traditional skeleton oil seals at present. These seals rely on their elasticity to press the sealing lip against the shaft surface, thereby achieving a sealing effect. However, the problems that arise as a result are something everyone has experienced: elastic fatigue leads to a loss of elasticity, a reduced sealing effect, excessive clamping force, and wear on the shaft surface. Replacing the oil seal doesn’t cost much, but what about equipment wear? Is it replaced frequently? What about the losses and consequences caused by the leakage of the working medium?
