Gentlemen! Are there any examples of systems that recover the power steam used in turbine shaft seal extraction pumps, or that replace this steam with jet extraction steam? Please share them Thank you! ! !
This portion of steam is waste heat steam and has no value for recovery. Water entrainment in oil can easily occur during jet pumping.
Our facility uses low-pressure steam, with a consumption of nearly 1 ton per hour, so we want to recycle it.
After passing through the ejector, the energy of the pressurized steam is largely lost. It is waste heat steam and has no utilitarian value. For reference, it is worth considering whether it would be feasible to change the exhaust method to using a fan for exhaust.
May I use factory air directly in the injector instead of steam? Logically, steam is only used to provide power, so can it be replaced by something else?
Are there any similar modifications? I’m afraid that making changes could result in the vacuum level of the extraction pump not meeting the requirements.
