In practical applications, whether a screw pump or a rotary screw pump is used as a bin cleaning pump, wear and tear is inevitable, which affects its performance. This is due to the many factors that influence its operation. Therefore, when using a bin cleaning pump on a daily basis, I would like to advise users to take the following maintenance measures: 1. After using the bin cleaning pump, users should check whether there is any looseness at the joints between the pump and the pipelines. The bin cleaning pump can be turned by hand to check whether it moves smoothly. In addition, bearing lubricating oil must be added to the bearing housing in a timely manner; the oil level should be at the center line of the oil gauge. The lubricating oil needs to be replaced or topped up regularly to ensure the proper operation of the silo pump. 2. During operation, if any abnormal noises are heard from the bin cleaning pump, stop the machine immediately to check for the cause. Moreover, when the silo pump is to be taken out of use, first close the gate valve and pressure gauge, and then stop the motor. If it is to be out of use for an extended period, the pump must be completely disassembled, all moisture removed, the moving parts and joints lubricated with grease, and then stored properly. In other words, if users want the pump to maintain excellent performance over a long period of time in practical use, it is necessary to carry out the maintenance measures mentioned above on a regular basis.
