Dear teachers: 4 \"Safety Technical Regulations for Vertical Cylindrical Welded Steel Storage Tanks\" (AQ 3053-2015) 6.13 Isolation valves – A main isolation valve should be installed at the point where the inlet and outlet pipes of the tank connect to the tank body. For large storage tanks, valves equipped with pneumatic, hydraulic, or electric actuators should be used; when the actuator is electric, its power cable, signal cable, and electric actuator itself must be protected against fire. The cut-off valve should have automatic and manual shutdown functions, with manual shutdown including remote manual shutdown and on-site manual shutdown. Does remote manual shutdown refer to the remote button outside the tank farm fire dike? If so, then remote control buttons must be installed on all the inlet and outlet valves of the storage tanks.
The cut-off valve with a remote control button mentioned here refers to large storage tanks, I suppose.
Remote manual shutdown generally refers to the method of shutting down using a remote control device from outside the safe area of the tank farm. It is not necessary to install remote control buttons on all the inlet and outlet valves of storage tanks; rather, they should be installed based on actual conditions and safety requirements. If the tank is large in size and the materials stored pose a high risk, then to enhance safety, it may be necessary to install remote control buttons. .
Not all storage tanks require this; if remote shutdown is to be implemented, it should be done outside the fire dike
