Recently, I installed a centrifugal pump without a soft joint. I always feel a big vibration when I drive it. I looked at other pumps that have soft joints. Is it necessary to install this?
Other pumps are also installed like you... It feels too crude. All the power connections are almost exposed. The base of the vertical pump is installed on the iron plate like this. . . . The hose connection only partially offsets some of the vibration factors, but if you use it this way, the fundamental factor of vibration will always exist!

There is no problem with the installation of the pipeline pump, but it feels like a vague concept. Whether it is normal or not will take time to test. If you want to reduce vibration, it is best to find a way to fix the pump body foundation for reference.
Even after installing a soft joint, it still vibrates, and even adding a leather pad under the water pump doesn't help. There is no need to install a shock absorber for this small vertical centrifugal pump.

The pumps installed before were squatting directly on the iron plate, but they were all equipped with soft joints. There was no vibration and the sound was light when running. I don't know why it vibrated and made noise this time.
The pipes vibrate a lot, and adding soft joints doesn't seem to have improved much.
Run it without load. There may be a problem with the dynamic balance of the impeller.

The vibration problem has been solved. The impeller screw of the pump was not tightened and the impeller was loose. This should not happen to a new pump.
