The main factors ensuring stable operation are reflected in these aspects. First is the balance of the drum, second is the stability of the drive bearings, and third is the method of feeding during use! These are some of the more common issues, so everyone is aware of these reasons; they are also the first things to consider when problems arise! However, there is one aspect that is generally not noticed, but which plays a very important role in affecting the stability of the centrifuge: the centrifuge shock absorbers! This is something we don’t pay much attention to! Flatbed centrifuges all use shock absorbers, as these are generally installed beneath the machinery; when problems occur, we often assume it is due to some other issue. Because when using the centrifuge without adding any material, its shock absorbers may not be under stress and thus function normally; however, once a certain amount of material has been added, mechanical vibrations can be felt. In many cases, we assume there is a problem with the drum or bearings. So it’s not a problem we encounter frequently when troubleshooting faults; therefore, we can also check the centrifuge’s shock absorbers to see if there are any issues with them! Here is a brief introduction: The centrifuge shock absorber – also known as a liquid damping shock absorber – features a wide load range, a long service life, and is safe and reliable to use. The upper and lower parts of the WGD type are equipped with anti-slip rubber pads. For devices that experience minimal disturbances and have a low center of gravity, the WGD type shock absorbers can be placed directly under the device’s shock absorption base without the need for any fixation; the upper part of the WGD1 type is fitted with bolts for securing it to the device. On the WGD2 model, the upper and lower seats are equipped with bolts and foundation bolt holes respectively, allowing for fixation at the bottom. Currently, the vast majority of centrifuges feature a flat-plate structure; on one side of the three support points, device displacement inevitably occurs during operation, resulting in vibration. Vibration is inevitable during on-site production and operation. To address these issues, taking advantage of the special structure of the damping spring shock absorbers, liquid damping shock absorbers are used at the four legs. Liquid damping shock absorbers: they have a simple structure, reliable operation, small size that does not affect the height of the equipment, low metal consumption, low cost, and are easy to install and remove. During use, the area around the shock absorber should be kept clean to prevent it from being clogged by debris and losing its shock-absorbing capacity. When the elastic rubber block of the elastic foot bolt ages, it needs to be replaced. This shock absorber has a simple structure, provides excellent shock absorption, and is relatively inexpensive. Damping shock absorbers offer good performance, low costs, and are easy to maintain.
