For Shengyu’s compressors, I saw experienced workers use two pressure-boosting oil pumps, along with two gauges. They applied pressure to the backup wheel; once it reached the desired position, the high-pressure pump released pressure while the low-pressure pump maintained that pressure for 15 minutes. Could someone explain why two pressure-boosting oil pumps are used? How to calculate the compression amount of the back wheel with two gauges? Why hold the pressure for 15 minutes?
Radially, a high-pressure oil pump is used to expand the backup wheel, creating a gap between the inner diameter of the backup wheel and the outer diameter of the shaft. Axially, a low-pressure oil pump is used to push the backup wheel into place on the shaft. The purpose of maintaining low pressure with the oil is to prevent the backup wheel from rebounding and coming out due to a sudden drop in pressure
The high-pressure side is the expansion pump, and the low-pressure side is the propulsion pump. The two tables are used to prevent operational errors that could lead to inaccurate data.

The amount of compression of the backrest wheel is measured using a dial indicator; the special tool used for this also has a locking mechanism. I can’t remember exactly how many millimeters it is – you just need to unlock that mechanism to determine the degree of compression
