ZH15000-6 air compressor, equipped with a 10kv Siemens motor, with a rated current of 104A. In recent years, there have been multiple instances of sudden insulation failures of the motor relative to ground during normal operation, which simultaneously caused damage to the communication interfaces of the compressor controller, resulting in a loss of communication; in some cases, the controller itself was also damaged. The high-voltage motor housing is equipped with a grounding wire that connects to the common base of the compressor and the motor, and this wire is then connected to the grounding bar via a cable.
Keep the communication port at a floating potential; I’ve also encountered situations where grounding the communication circuit caused serious interference. The issue is that Siemens motors simply don’t work properly when grounded, so it’s important to carry out regular inspections and maintenance
