Please ask for help. The granulation vacuum pump in our factory keeps burning out recently. I would like to ask what is going on?
This post was last edited by 1000000 at 2021-10-28 09:43. This is the FSB fluoroalloy centrifugal pump, which is caused by typical fluid interruption and dry grinding. The suction inlet pipeline is too complicated and has too many elbows, which can easily lead to poor suction. Without sufficient liquid lubrication to form a liquid film, the machine seal end surface will dry out and the impeller handle position and the inner ring of the pump cover will be burned out.
Does that mean our pipeline layout is unreasonable?

Looking at the picture, this pump has been used for a long time. This situation has only occurred recently. I personally think that there is a greater possibility of a problem with the medium. Is it because there are too many particles in the medium, causing the seal to burn? This pump also does not have an inlet filter as seen in the photo.
