Vibration of double-support centrifugal pumps

Before maintenance, spectral analysis of a double-support centrifugal pump revealed that vibration at 205 Hz was the dominant issue, with bearings of type 7314. Upon disassembly and inspection, it was found that the bearing rollers were severely worn; the characteristic frequency of the 7314 bearings is around 203 Hz. Even after replacing the bearings as part of maintenance, the frequency remained at 205 Hz; the rear bearing had a speed of 3 mm/s, while the front bearing also had a speed of over 1 mm/s. During the maintenance process when such phenomena occur, the first step is to identify the cause of the problem. Simply replacing the parts, ignoring everything else, leads to this result. All possible causes of the problem should be checked. For example, shaft alignment and coupling clearance, equipment levelness, prestress of foundation bolts, ...................................
